In her debut match, Rohmalia from Indonesia made history by taking seven wickets without conceding any runs, setting a new record for the best bowling figures in all T20 International matches, both men’s and women’s.

Playing against Mongolia in the fifth T20I of a series in Bali, the teenage off-spinner bowled 20 deliveries, all of which were dot balls, and dismissed seven batters for ducks, achieving this remarkable feat.

Rohmalia joins the ranks of only two other bowlers in women’s T20Is who have taken seven wickets – Alison Stocks from Argentina and Frederique Overdijk from the Netherlands.

In the same match, Indonesia scored 151 runs and bowled Mongolia out for just 24 runs. With this victory, Indonesia sealed a 6-0 series win.

The current record for the best bowling figures in men’s T20Is is held by Malaysia’s Syazrul Ezat Idrus, who took 7 wickets for 8 runs against China last year.
