On Monday, Zimbabwe Cricket unveiled the ODI and T20I squads for their upcoming white-ball series against Pakistan, which will take place at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo.

The series will kick off with three One-Day Internationals on November 24, 26, and 28, followed by three T20Is set for December 1, 3, and 5, 2024.

Zimbabwe’s ODI squad will be captained by Craig Ervine, and it boasts experienced players such as Sikandar Raza, Sean Williams, Blessing Muzarabani, and Richard Ngarava. The team also sees the inclusion of three uncapped players: Trevor Gwandu, Tashinga Musekiwa, and Tinotenda Maposa.

Meanwhile, the T20I squad remains unchanged from the one that achieved remarkable results in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 sub-regional qualifiers in Kenya last month. Raza will continue to lead the team in the shortest format.

David Mutendera, Zimbabwe’s Convener of Selectors, expressed confidence in both squads, emphasizing the significance of the series against Pakistan as an excellent chance to evaluate their progress and demonstrate Zimbabwe’s potential on the international stage.

“Competing against a top-tier team like Pakistan is a fantastic opportunity for us to assess our development and show what Zimbabwe can do on the world stage,” he said. “We believe our ODI and T20I squads will be strong contenders.”
