Zimbabwe clinched a win against the host team in the five-match series with the help of Captain Sikandar Raza and Brian Bennet’s strong performances.

Bennet made 70 runs in 49 balls and claimed two wickets to help Zimbabwe win, while Raza hit 72 runs in 46 balls with six boundaries and four sixes.

Despite a rocky start, Raza and Bennet’s partnership of 75 runs steered Zimbabwe towards victory.

Shakib was economical, taking a wicket while conceding nine runs in four overs, while Mohammad Saifuddin took one wicket despite being expensive.

Earlier, Mahmudullah Riyad’s half-century helped Bangladesh set a target of 158 runs for Zimbabwe in 20 overs.

Bangladesh struggled with their batting, but Mahmudullah’s innings of 54 runs off 44 balls provided them with a decent total.

After being at 15-3, Mahmudullah partnered with skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto, who scored 36 runs, to stabilize Bangladesh’s innings. Shakib contributed 21 runs, and Jaker Ali scored 24 runs off 11 balls to help Bangladesh reach a total of over 150 runs.

Blessing Muzarabani and Brian Bennet took two wickets each for Zimbabwe.
