-The franchise said in an official statement.
The tournament in Kandy, Sri Lanka, scheduled from March 7 to 18, will have a distinctive 90-ball format. In contrast, last year’s season in Ghaziabad, held from March 22 to March 30, followed a 20-over format.
Reflecting on the inaugural season, the final match in Ghaziabad was affected by rain, leading to Indore Knights and Guwahati Avengers being declared co-champions. Now, in Season 2, there’s a twist with the LCT adopting a 90-ball format. Each team’s five bowlers can bowl three overs each, and by the 60th ball, the captain has the option to select one bowler for an extra over.
