Earlier this year, Kohli ended his long-term partnership with Puma, becoming both an investor in Agilitas and a co-founder of the One8 brand.

Agilitas Sports Aims to Establish One8 as a Leading Indian Sports Brand
Agilitas plans to rapidly develop One8 into a high-performance, homegrown sportswear label with global ambitions. Abhishek Ganguly shared that the brand will be repositioned to compete with top international players across footwear, apparel, accessories, and multiple sports categories—not just a single discipline.

“Commercially, One8 will launch with an omnichannel approach, starting with an e-commerce store and app,” Ganguly said.

Virat Kohli’s One8 Legacy
Launched in 2017, One8 began as a co-created partnership with Puma, under an eight-year deal valued at approximately ₹110 crore. The brand initially focused on athleisure wear, footwear, and accessories.

Over time, One8 diversified beyond sportswear, entering the fragrance segment in 2018 and expanding into hospitality with the One8 Commune restaurant chain. Managed by True Palate Hospitality, the chain now has over 16 locations across India.

Named after Kohli’s iconic jersey number 18, One8 has always been closely tied to the cricketer’s personal brand and youthful, fitness-driven image.

With Agilitas now taking the reins, the focus will shift to making One8 a leader in sportswear and accessories, while the restaurant business continues to operate independently.
