The NCL T20 tournament is expected to start between December 9 and 11, after the four-day competition ends on December 3. Hannan confirmed that Tamim must complete the mandatory fitness test before participating.
“If he plays, he’ll represent Chattogram Division. We’ll decide how many matches he’ll play after discussions. The fitness test applies to everyone, including Tamim,” Hannan said at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

Tamim, currently training individually in Mirpur, last played in the Dhaka Premier League (DPL). He has also been retained as captain of Fortune Barishal for the 11th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
