Sylhet faced difficulties on their home ground, losing their first wicket with only 7 runs on the board as Mohammad Mithun scored 1 run off 4 balls. Shortly after, Najmul Hossain Shanto (5) also left the field with just 1 run added to the team score.
Zakir Hasan and Harry Tector then attempted to stabilize the innings, putting together a partnership of 57 runs. However, Zakir was dismissed after scoring 31 runs off 26 balls, followed by Tector, who departed after contributing 45 runs from 42 balls.
Zimbabwe batter Ryan Burl joined Tector but was dismissed after scoring 34 runs off 29 balls, while Afif Hossain made an unbeaten contribution of 17 runs off 12 balls.
In the end, Sylhet posted a total of 137 runs in their innings. Bilal Khan took three wickets for 24 runs in his four overs for Chittagong, and Nihad Uzzaman took one wicket.
