Sri Lanka’s star all-rounder Chamari Athapaththu has moved up two spots in the latest ICC Women’s ODI Player Rankings, following her performance in the recently concluded ODI series against New Zealand.
Athapaththu, who scored 25 runs and took three wickets during the series, has now climbed to seventh place in the all-rounders rankings, overtaking Sophie Devine. She now shares the position with Australia’s Annabel Sutherland.
Despite her contributions, Sri Lanka fell short as New Zealand sealed a 2-0 series win.
