Dhananjaya de Silva is set to lead the Sri Lankan Test side, with Kusal Mendis appointed as his deputy. The squad boasts experienced players such as Dimuth Karunaratne, Angelo Mathews, and Dinesh Chandimal.

Bowling Attack Led by Rajitha, Mendis, and Jayasuriya

The much-anticipated one-off Test between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan is scheduled to take place at Colombo SSC from February 2 to 6.

Apart from the Test match, Afghanistan’s tour of Sri Lanka will feature three ODIs and three T20Is.

Lahiru Udara, Chamika Gunasekara, and Milan Rathnayake, all uncapped at the Test level, join the squad. Udara is a wicketkeeper-batter, while Gunasekara and Rathnayake add pace to the team.
