The Karnataka cricketer, who has battled injuries over the past year, missed the last WCPL season but is now ready to make her comeback.
In the 2023 edition, Shreyanka was a key performer for Guyana Amazon Warriors, taking 9 wickets in 5 matches and helping her team reach the final. Interestingly, her best WCPL outing came against the Barbados Royals, when she picked up 4 wickets — a performance her new team will hope she can replicate against other sides this season.
Shreyanka to Team Up With Hayley Matthews and Chamari Athapaththu
Shreyanka is one of four overseas players in the Barbados Royals squad for 2025. She’ll join forces with star names like Chamari Athapaththu and Hayley Matthews, with Georgia Redmayne and Courtney Webb adding strength to the batting lineup.
The bowling unit has a familiar look, with Aaliyah Alleyne, Afy Fletcher, and Chinelle Henry retained. The Royals will hope Shreyanka’s addition — in place of Amanda-Jade Wellington — helps them successfully defend their title.

Shreyanka played a vital role in RCB Women’s title win in 2024 and has impressed whenever she’s represented India. After missing significant cricket due to injury, she’ll be eager to make an impact in this year’s WCPL.
Besides Shreyanka, two other Indian players will feature in WCPL 2025 — Shikha Pandey and Salonee Dangore — both of whom will represent Trinbago Knight Riders when the tournament kicks off on September 6.
