Ahmed Shehzad to Replace Malik in Barishal Camp
Ahmed Shehzad is set to join the Barishal cricket team, taking over from Malik. Initially expected to join on February 6th after flying to Dubai post the Dhaka phase, it was later revealed that Malik won’t participate in the tournament.
Malik’s Unimpressive Performance
Malik’s stint in the BPL this year was lackluster, featuring in three matches for Barishal. He scored 17, 5, and 7 runs in these games and managed to take only one wicket.
Changes in Team Composition
Meanwhile, Afghan opener Ibrahim Zadran has left Dhaka for national duty, and there are expectations of Caribbean all-rounder Kyle Myers joining the team.

As of now, Barishal is in the fifth position with two defeats and a solitary win in the ongoing tournament.
