Star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is set to compete in the upcoming Asian Legends League, which kicks off on March 10. He will be playing for the Asian Stars in the five-team tournament.
Asian Stars will start their campaign on the opening day against Afghanistan Pathans.
Joining Shakib in the squad is former Bangladesh all-rounder Alok Kapali, along with notable names like Dilshan Munaweera, Kedar Jadhav, Sourabh Tiwary, and Seekkuge Prasanna.
Meanwhile, Naeem Islam, along with former Bangladesh players Mohammad Ashraful and Tushar Imran, will feature for the Bangladesh Tigers.

Tamim Iqbal, who recently retired, was initially expected to play for the Bangladesh Tigers, but The Daily Star has learned that he will not be participating.
