Shahid Afridi, the former Pakistan cricket captain, happily welcomed his first grandchild, a baby boy named Aliyaar Afridi. The newborn is the son of Afridi’s daughter, Ansha, and cricketer Shaheen Shah Afridi.
Afridi shared a video holding his grandson, which quickly went viral. In the video, Afridi, fondly known as Lala, is seen cradling the baby while two of his daughters excitedly watch, eager to meet their nephew.
Shaheen Shah Afridi, who married Ansha last year after their engagement in 2021, became a father for the first time. He also posted the first photo of his son on Instagram with a heartfelt message of joy.
