On Friday, Zaka Ashraf stepped down from his position, disclosing his decision after the fourth committee meeting at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore. Ashraf took over as the chairman of the management committee in July 2023, succeeding Najam Sethi. Tasked by the government to form a board of governors and conduct a PCB chairman election, Ashraf’s unsuccessful efforts ultimately led to his resignation.
