Sarfaraz Khan continues his incredible run in domestic cricket, scoring a remarkable double century in the ongoing Irani Cup match between Mumbai and the rest of India at Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium, just two days after being released from the India Test squad.

Reaching the milestone in just 253 balls, Sarfaraz once again proved why he remains one of the most consistent batters in India’s domestic circuit.

Coming in at a critical juncture with Mumbai at 139/4, Sarfaraz built a vital partnership with captain Ajinkya Rahane, who fell just three runs short of his century. The 26-year-old was recently included in India’s squad for the Test series against Bangladesh but was released to prioritize his participation in the Irani Cup.
