“We’re expecting all of these games to sell out – so we’re urging fans to register for their tickets during the pre-sale window to avoid disappointment,” a NZC official said.

The highly anticipated tour, beginning in October, features five T20Is, five ODIs, and two Test matches as part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025–27 cycle. The ODI series, starting November 4 in Auckland, could mark the final New Zealand tour for Indian veterans Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.

India will begin the tour with the T20I series, followed by the ODIs, before concluding with the two-Test series. The ODI leg will see matches in Auckland, Wellington, Hamilton, and Mount Maunganui.

NZC chief marketing and commercial officer Glenn Critchley highlighted the significance of the tour, calling India one of the biggest draws in world cricket.

“When it comes to cricket, it simply doesn’t get bigger than India, and we’re determined to deliver New Zealanders a tour like no other. This will be about more than just the cricket on the field – it will be a celebration of New Zealand’s shared history and culture with India and our burgeoning rivalry and friendship through cricket,” Critchley said.

He added that the presence of global stars, including Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah, is expected to create huge excitement among fans.

“The passion and the following this team has is staggering… we’re bracing for the intensity and fandom that will accompany the tour. Experiencing the noise, colour and atmosphere of an Indian cricket international is a bucket-list event,” he said.

“Overall, we’re expecting all of these games to sell out, so we’re urging fans to register for their tickets during the pre-sale window to avoid disappointment.”
