Among the notable selections is Anvay Dravid, the younger son of former India captain and T20 World Cup-winning head coach Rahul Dravid. Anvay has been included in the one-day squad as a wicketkeeper-batter.

Anvay is also the younger brother of Karnataka cricketer Samit Dravid, an all-rounder who rose to prominence following his debut for Mysuru Warriors in the KSCA Maharaja Trophy during the 2024 season.

A right-handed wicketkeeper-batter, Anvay has earned recognition through consistent performances in age-group cricket, gradually building a reputation as a promising young talent. With cricketing pedigree in the family, attention will now be on how he adapts to the demands of international youth cricket in a highly competitive setup.

The squad will be led by Yashbardhan Singh Chauhan, who has been named captain for both the one-day and multi-day formats. Lakshya Raichandani will serve as his deputy throughout the tour.

The India U19 tour of Sri Lanka will begin on July 4, with the opening one-day match scheduled in Hambantota.
