The Lahore Qalandars are the current champions of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and have won the championship twice, just like Islamabad United. Under the leadership of Shaheen Afridi, the team clinched victories in the 2022 and 2023 tournaments, aiming for a hat-trick in titles.
The team’s squad consists of a mix of young and experienced players, with the core remaining unchanged from the previous edition.
The PSL 9 tournament will be held in four cities—Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi—with the final scheduled to take place at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi on March 18.
The PSL 9 will follow a two-leg format, starting with matches in Multan Cricket Stadium and Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium from February 17 to 27. The action will then shift to Rawalpindi’s Pindi Cricket Stadium and Karachi’s National Bank Stadium for 16 matches from February 28 to March 12. The playoffs will be entirely held in Karachi.
