Rescheduled President’s Trophy Grade I Final Dates Confirmed
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced a rescheduling of the President’s Trophy Grade I final between WAPDA and SNGPL, moving it from January 27 to February 6-10 in Karachi. The PCB, in a press release on Thursday, also mentioned that the final venue will be confirmed soon.
Consideration for Fairness in Rescheduling
Nadeem Khan, Director Domestic Cricket Operations, shared that the decision to reschedule the final was made in the spirit of fairness, accommodating a request from one of the finalist teams. Khan expressed confidence in maintaining the competitive spirit of the tournament and extended best wishes to both finalists.

The return of departments to domestic cricket has been a positive change, with the tournament witnessing 21 matches among seven departmental teams over seven rounds. In the seventh round, WAPDA defeated PTV by three wickets, and Ghani Glass secured victory against SBP by two wickets. SNGPL beat HEC by 109 runs.
