PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi inspects Gaddafi Stadium upgrade ahead of ICC Champions Trophy
In an early morning visit to Gaddafi Stadium, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi reviewed the ongoing upgrade work at the venue.
During the inspection, Naqvi evaluated the construction progress in the stadium’s basement and upper levels. It was confirmed that the basement construction has been completed, with work now progressing on the upper floors.
Highlighting the necessity for top-notch construction, Chairman Naqvi stressed that the project must be finished before the ICC Champions Trophy. He urged the team to dedicate themselves to working day and night to meet the deadline.

Expressing his satisfaction with the current progress, Naqvi provided further directives to ensure timely completion. The project director from the Frontier Works Organization (FWO) briefed him on the status and advancements made, alongside officials from PCB’s domestic cricket and infrastructure departments, as well as representatives from FWO and NESPAK.
