A security team comprising two representatives from Cricket New Zealand has touched down in Pakistan to thoroughly assess the existing security measures ahead of the upcoming T20I series between the two nations.
This delegation, which includes independent security specialists and members from the New Zealand Players Association, will meticulously review the security protocols in place in Islamabad and Rawalpindi for the initial leg of the series. Following this, they will turn their attention to scrutinizing the accommodations and stadium arrangements in Lahore for the subsequent phase.
The forthcoming visit by the New Zealand cricket team is set to feature a series of five Twenty20 International (T20I) matches scheduled for April.
As per the proposed schedule, the Kiwi contingent is slated to arrive in Pakistan on April 14, with the inaugural T20I match between Pakistan and New Zealand scheduled for April 18.
