Ben Sears was the star with the ball, claiming a five-wicket haul, while Mitchell Hay anchored New Zealand’s innings with an unbeaten 99.

After being put in to bat, New Zealand started steadily but stumbled to 132/5 in the middle overs. Muhammad Abbas (41) and Mitchell Hay (99*) rescued the innings, guiding them to a competitive 292/8 in 50 overs.
Pakistan struggled early, losing wickets in quick succession and slumping to 72/7 by the 22nd over. Ashraf and Naseem stitched together a 64-run stand to push the total past 170, but their efforts weren’t enough as Pakistan were eventually bowled out for 208.
