India secured a solid 4-wicket victory over Australia in the first semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Batting first, Australia posted 264 runs before being bowled out. Steven Smith scored 73 off 96 balls, while Alex Carey contributed 61 off 57. Nathan Ellis and Adam Zampa picked up two wickets each.

India’s chase was smooth, thanks to Virat Kohli’s 84 (98) and Shreyas Iyer’s 45 (62). They reached the target in 48.1 overs with six wickets in hand. Kohli was named Man of the Match. On the bowling side, Mohammed Shami impressed with 3 wickets for 46 runs, while Varun Chakravarthy took 2 for 49.

New Zealand:

New Zealand dominated South Africa in the second semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, securing a commanding 50-run victory. Batting first, they put up an imposing total of 362/6. Rachin Ravindra led the charge with a brilliant 108 off 101 balls, while Kane Williamson added 102 off 94.

In response, South Africa fought hard but fell short of the target. David Miller played a stunning knock of 100* off 67 balls, and Rassie van der Dussen contributed 69 off 66. However, their efforts weren’t enough. On the bowling side, Lungi Ngidi picked up 3 wickets for 72 runs, while Kagiso Rabada took 2 for 70.

For New Zealand, Mitchell Santner was the standout bowler with 3 wickets for 43 runs, while Matt Henry chipped in with 2 for 43. Rachin Ravindra was named Man of the Match for his outstanding performance.
