Suthar, who made an instant impact on his debut, claimed a seven-wicket match haul and also contributed a valuable 28 runs with the bat, earning the Player of the Match award in India’s commanding victory.
The left-arm spinner has now made himself available for Warwickshire for the next two rounds of the ongoing County Championship Division One. He is set to feature in their upcoming clash against Yorkshire from June 12 to 15, followed by a fixture against Somerset in Taunton.
Expressing his excitement, Suthar said in a club statement that he is eager to contribute to Warwickshire’s strong start to the season.
“I’m incredibly excited to be joining Warwickshire for the next two County Championship games. The team have started the season very well, so I’m hoping that I can play a part in helping them in their push for the title,” Suthar said.
Warwickshire’s performance director James Thomas welcomed the young Indian all-rounder, praising his potential and recent international breakthrough.
“We’re delighted to welcome Manav to the Bears at a really exciting time for the team. We’ve played some good red-ball cricket already this season, and Manav will bring a new aspect to our bowling attack,” Thomas said.
