Speaking on the announcement, Team Owner Sameen Rana expressed delight at the franchise’s return, emphasizing the platform’s importance in showcasing talent, culture, and long-term player development. He also highlighted the opportunity to feature players from their development program on an international stage.

Global Super League Chairman Clive Lloyd also welcomed the franchise back, describing them as one of the most dynamic T20 teams in world cricket whose presence significantly boosts the quality and profile of the tournament.
