In the recent PSL 9 match against Lahore Qalandars, Khawaja Nafay of Quetta Gladiators played a crucial role in their second consecutive win. The 22-year-old scored an impressive 60 runs, helping his team chase down a target of 188. Nafay’s innings, marked by four boundaries and three sixes, had a striking rate of 193.54.
Notably, Nafay achieved a unique feat by facing just one dot ball in his innings, making him the first batter in PSL history to achieve this with 25 or more balls faced. Quetta Gladiators currently lead the table with two wins in two games.
The upcoming match in PSL 9 will be between Multan Sultans and Islamabad United. Multan showed their strength in the first game against Karachi Kings, while Islamabad United, led by Shadab Khan, began the tournament with a convincing win over Lahore Qalandars. The top four teams at the end of the remaining matches will qualify for the playoffs.
