Rossouw has now joined Joburg Super Kings, while Maharaj was acquired by the Capitals to lead the squad. The 33-match SA20 veteran has claimed 27 wickets at an economy of 7.30, including 8 wickets from 10 matches in the previous season at an economy of 6.91.
Leadership and Experience
Maharaj’s experience in international cricket is expected to bring balance and direction to the Capitals. On his appointment, the franchise said:

Revamped Coaching Staff and Squad Moves
Pretoria Capitals have also revamped their coaching team, with former India captain Sourav Ganguly appointed as head coach and former South Africa captain Shaun Pollock joining as assistant coach.
With the largest auction purse of R32.5 million, the Capitals made key acquisitions including Dewald Brevis, Lungi Ngidi, Craig Overton, Connor Esterhuizen, Lizaad Williams, and Bryce Parsons. Pre-signed players include Sherfane Rutherford and Will Jacks, while Andre Russell joins as a wild card pick.
Season Kick-off
SA20 Season 4 begins on December 26, with MI Cape Town taking on Durban Super Giants. Pretoria Capitals will open their campaign the next day against Joburg Super Kings.
