Malinga has enjoyed a breakthrough IPL campaign since being picked by Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2025 mega auction. Arriving from Sri Lanka’s domestic circuit as a promising but relatively untested fast bowler, he has rapidly become one of SRH’s most dependable performers.
