The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will play Mumbai Indians (MI) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) twice during the league phase of IPL 2025, as per the official schedule released on Sunday (February 16).
Led by Ruturaj Gaikwad, CSK will kick off their campaign with a marquee clash against five-time champions Mumbai Indians at home on March 23, in the late evening match of the tournament’s second double-header day. The return fixture against MI will take place at Wankhede Stadium on April 20. Notably, MI captain Hardik Pandya will miss the first match due to a one-match suspension for repeated overrate offences in the 2024 season.
CSK will also lock horns with southern rivals RCB twice, hosting them on March 28 before traveling to Bengaluru for the return leg on May 3.

The 10 IPL teams are divided into two groups, following the format introduced in 2022:
