India vs Pakistan Champions Trophy Tickets Sell Out in Minutes, Prices Soar Over ₹1 Lakh
Tickets for the much-anticipated India vs Pakistan clash in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 were sold out within minutes after going on sale on Monday. The overwhelming demand saw over 1,50,000 eager fans queuing online, with wait times exceeding an hour. The high-stakes group-stage match is set to take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on February 23.
Dubai residents and cricket enthusiasts were left stunned by how quickly tickets disappeared.
“I expected a long queue, but the speed at which tickets vanished was unbelievable. By the time I got through, only two categories were left, both way out of my budget,” said Sudhashree, a Dubai resident.
Fans who waited for nearly an hour found that all ticket categories were sold out, including the Dh2,000 (₹47,434) Platinum and Dh5,000 (₹1.8 lakh) Grand Lounge sections. With the stadium’s capacity limited to 25,000 spectators, the ticket frenzy underscored the game’s massive appeal.
Beyond the cricket field, the India-Pakistan clash is expected to boost Dubai’s economy, driving up demand in the hospitality, travel, and tourism sectors. Experts predict a surge in hotel bookings and airfares as fans from both nations flock to the UAE.
