The squad features several key players including Rabeya Khan, Sultana Khatun, Dilara Akter, Shorna Akter and Marufa Akter, while experienced campaigners like Sobhana Mostary, Fahima Khatun and Sharmin Akter Supta have also retained their spots. Young talents Juairiya Ferdous, Taj Nehar, Shanjida Akther Maghla and Fariha Islam Trisna have also been included in the squad.
This will mark Bangladesh’s seventh appearance at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. Although the Tigresses are yet to reach the final of the tournament, they head into the 2026 edition with confidence after winning the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Global Qualifier in dominant fashion with an unbeaten run.
Bangladesh have been placed in Group 1 and will begin their campaign against the Netherlands on June 14 in Birmingham. They will then face Australia, Pakistan, India and South Africa in the group stage.
