A total of 16 teams will compete, divided into four groups of four. Each team will play three group-stage matches, with the top sides progressing to the Super Six phase.
A compact 23-day tournament
The previous edition, held two years ago, saw Australia defeat India in the final, and the top youth teams are once again set to battle for the title.
This year brings fresh faces too — Tanzania will make their tournament debut, while Japan returns after last appearing in 2020. The USA U19 team has also made the cut following an impressive qualifying run.
Across the 23 days, teams will compete for a spot in the semi-finals and ultimately the final, scheduled for February 6 at the Harare Sports Club. Reserve days are in place for both semi-finals and the final to cover any weather or unforeseen interruptions.
