Suryavanshi’s incredible knock of 101 came off just 38 balls in an eight-wicket win over the Gujarat Titans. He smashed seven fours and 11 sixes, bringing up his century in just 35 balls—the second-fastest ton in IPL history, trailing only Chris Gayle’s iconic 30-ball hundred.

“That first shot he played against Lucknow—everyone watching must’ve held their breath,” Shastri said. “But he’s only 14. The most important thing right now is to just let him play. There will be ups and downs, and how he handles failure will be key.”
