Hasan Credits Partnership Bowling
Despite his outstanding individual figures, Hasan insisted the performance was a collective effort and credited the team’s “partnership bowling” for putting Australia under sustained pressure.
“Our plan was to bowl with strict discipline and build pressure through partnership bowling, which is exactly what happened,” Hasan said.
He praised Taskin and Ebadot for their contributions from the other end, saying their disciplined bowling allowed Bangladesh to maintain pressure throughout Australia’s innings.
Preparation Pays Off
Hasan also highlighted Bangladesh’s preparation ahead of their first Test in Australia in 23 years. He said the bowlers had worked extensively in the lead-up to the match and that their preparation was reflected in their performance.
“The wicket had a lot of moisture in the morning; it was soft, and there was seam movement,” Hasan said.
He added that facing one of the world’s strongest Test teams in their own conditions was a major challenge, but Bangladesh’s extensive preparation helped the bowlers execute their plans effectively.
