Amidst preparations for the highly anticipated ninth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Fakhar Zaman, the renowned Pakistani opener, has unveiled his preferred batting position for the Lahore Qalandars franchise.
Speaking to the media in Lahore on Sunday, Fakhar conveyed his eagerness to contribute effectively to his team’s success, underscoring his inclination towards opening the innings for Lahore Qalandars during the upcoming PSL edition.
While I am adaptable to batting in any position, my primary choice is to open in the PSL,” stated Fakhar.
Moreover, Fakhar highlighted the distinctive dynamics between representing the national team and participating in the PSL.
The dynamics within the Pakistan team are unique, given the diversity of players from across the country. Comparatively, the PSL franchise setup offers a different environment,” he elaborated.
Notably, in the previous edition, Lahore Qalandars clinched a historic victory by successfully defending their title, marking their second HBL PSL trophy with a triumph over Multan Sultans.
