England Test captain Ben Stokes has become a victim of burglary while he was in Pakistan for a Test series. The incident took place at his home in County Durham.
On October 17, masked individuals broke into Stokes’s residence, stealing valuable jewelry and personal items. Stokes emphasized that many of these items had significant emotional value for his family. He made a public appeal on social media, stating, “This appeal is to help locate these individuals.” At the time of the burglary, his wife was home with their two young children. Thankfully, no one was physically harmed, but the event has deeply affected the family’s mental well-being.

Stokes plans to release descriptions of some of the stolen items to aid the police in their investigation. He encouraged anyone with information to contact Durham Constabulary. He also expressed his gratitude to the police for their support during this difficult time, confirming that they are actively working to find the suspects.
