England has announced their squads for the upcoming white-ball series against Australia, with Jonny Bairstow and Moeen Ali notably absent.

Under the captaincy of Jos Buttler, England has introduced five new players for the international fixtures. For the T20 matches, Warwickshire all-rounders Jacob Bethell and Dan Mousley have been included, along with Essex batter Jordan Cox. Hampshire’s John Turner and Leicestershire’s Josh Hull will join the squad for the five one-day internationals.

Bairstow and Moeen Ali, who have each been with the team for a decade, could have played their last international games, as they are not part of the squad. Chris Jordan is also missing from the lineup.

Brydon Carse, returning from a three-month suspension, will join the T20 squad, alongside Saqib Mahmood, who has recovered from injury.
