The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) revealed the details of the upcoming BPL season during a logo unveiling event on Wednesday morning at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium’s media center.
Tournament Schedule
The new season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) will start on December 30, 2024, and will run until February 7, 2025, lasting nearly a month and a half.
Participating Teams
This season will feature seven teams:
- Dhaka Capitals
- Chittagong Kings
- Durbar Rajshahi
- Fortune Barishal
- Khulna Tigers
- Rangpur Riders
- Sylhet Strikers

Key Changes
Two well-known teams, Comilla Victorians and Chattogram Challengers, will not be part of this year’s league. Additionally, the Dhaka team has a new owner, and Durbar Rajshahi is rejoining the league.
