The upcoming edition of the Caribbean Premier League will be staged across Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, and Trinidad and Tobago, highlighting the league’s growing footprint across the region.

In a notable development, Arnos Vale Stadium will host CPL matches for the first time. The venue, known for its rich cricketing history, has previously hosted 36 men’s international matches and featured during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, where spin-friendly conditions played a key role.

CPL CEO Pete Russell said the expansion to new venues reflects the league’s long-term vision of taking top-level cricket closer to fans across the Caribbean. He described Arnos Vale as “a fantastic venue with a proud cricket history” and expressed excitement about engaging local supporters.

The CPL 2026 season will run until September 20 and will also see the introduction of a seventh franchise, Jamaica Kingsmen. However, the tournament will overlap with The Hundred in England, which could affect the availability of several international stars in the later stages.

The playoffs, including the Eliminator, Qualifiers, and Final, will be held at Kensington Oval in Barbados from September 16 to 20. Defending champions Trinbago Knight Riders, the most successful franchise in CPL history with five titles, will once again enter the season as strong contenders.
