Chloe Tryon, a versatile player, has returned to South Africa’s T20I squad for the series in India after recovering from a back injury since April. Delmi Tucker and Nondumiso Shangase will join the squad after the ongoing Test match in Chennai.
Chloe brings valuable experience to the team,” said SA women interim head coach Dillon du Preez. “With three T20I matches left against India, we have the opportunity to explore a few options before heading home to prepare for the T20 World Cup in Bangladesh.
Clinton du Preez, the SA women’s selector, emphasized maintaining consistency in squad selection to strengthen their strategies and team dynamics for the upcoming T20 World Cup.
South Africa will play three T20Is against India in Chennai on July 5, 7, and 9, following a challenging ODI series and ongoing Test match.
