The team recently revealed on their social media that they’ve signed wicket-keeper batter Phil Salt. Shuvagata Hom will lead Chattogram in the upcoming 10th edition of BPL. The team has added several foreign players, including Najibullah Zadran, Mohammad Hasnain, and Stephen Eskinazi.
Phil Salt’s inclusion was a surprise just a day before the tournament starts. The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2024 is set to begin on January 19, with the first match between Comilla Victorians and Durdanto Dhaka. Chattogram will play their opening match against Sylhet Strikers at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
