2012: Dhaka’s First Triumph

Dhaka claimed the inaugural BPL title with a dominant 8-wicket win over Barisal in the final. Chasing 141 runs, Dhaka cruised to victory. Shakib Al Hasan was named the Player of the Tournament.

2013: Dhaka Retains the Trophy

Dhaka successfully defended their title in the second edition. Batting first, they posted 172/9 in the final, while Chittagong collapsed to 129 all out, losing by 43 runs. Once again, Shakib Al Hasan took home the Player of the Tournament award.

2015: Comilla’s First Championship

Comilla emerged victorious in the third edition, defeating Barisal by 3 wickets. Ashar Zaidi’s exceptional performance earned him the Player of the Tournament accolade.

2016: Dhaka’s Third Title

Dhaka lifted their third BPL trophy, beating Rajshahi by 56 runs in the final. Mahmudullah Riyad of Khulna Titans was recognized as the Player of the Tournament.

2017: Rangpur’s Dominance

Rangpur claimed their maiden title with a massive 57-run victory over Dhaka in the final. Chris Gayle’s extraordinary performance earned him the Player of the Tournament honor.

2019: Comilla Strikes Again

Comilla secured their second title by defeating Dhaka in a high-scoring final. Chasing 200 runs, they won by 17 runs. Shakib Al Hasan was named the Player of the Tournament.

2020: Rajshahi’s First Title

Rajshahi clinched their first championship by defeating Khulna in the final. Posting 170/4, Rajshahi defended their score and won by 21 runs. Andre Russell was the Player of the Tournament.

2022: Comilla’s Third Crown

Comilla captured their third title by defeating Barisal in the final. Shakib Al Hasan shone once again, earning the Player of the Tournament award for his stellar all-round performance with 284 runs and 16 wickets for Barisal.

2023: Comilla’s Fourth Title

Led by Imrul Kayes, Comilla secured the 2023 title with a seven-wicket victory over Sylhet. Chasing 175, Comilla sealed the win in the final over with four balls to spare.

2024: Barisal’s Maiden Victory

Tamim Iqbal-led Barisal won their first BPL title by defeating three-time champions Comilla in the final. Barisal chased down a target of 155 runs to win by 6 wickets after finishing third in the points table and advancing through the Eliminator and Qualifier-2.
