Such a scenario has been visible since the inception of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2008. After the IPL, tournaments like BPL, CPL and PSL also started one by one.

Considering the money and stars, the IPL is undoubtedly the world’s number one cricket league. With new technologies and world’s best stars on one platform, the Indian cricket league is being able to raise more ‘hype’ day by day.

On the other hand, the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), which started after watching the IPL, has already passed the eighth edition, but it has not been able to make light of it.

However, the Pakistan Cricket League (PSL), which started after the BPL, has already retained a big position. Many legendary cricketers have also said that psl is the biggest tournament after the IPL.

Meanwhile, Shakib Al Hasan is the only Bangladeshi to have the experience of playing in the world’s most cricket leagues. He has played in all tournaments like IPL, CPL, BigBash or PSL. And so he should know the best about the quality of the tournaments.

In a recent Facebook live, he spoke about franchise league cricket. The IPL is at the top in the eyes of the world’s best all-rounder. Apart from this, the second best league in Shakib’s eyes, however, is the Caribbean Cricket League CPL.

When asked where is the position of Bangladesh Cricket League BPL, Shakib said that BPL is the fifth or sixth best tournament in the world.

It is to be noted that Shakib Al Hasan-led Fortune Barisal has finished runners-up in the recently concluded BPL. In the title match, they lost to Comilla Victorians. Apart from this, shakib was the man of the tournament even though the team did not get the title. Earlier, he also became the first cricketer in the world to be man of the match in five consecutive T20Is.
