This season, the BPL will feature six teams, down from seven in the previous edition. Dhaka Capitals and Rangpur Riders remain from last season, while Chattogram Royals, Rajshahi Warriors, and Sylhet Titans are newly introduced following ownership changes.
Notably, defending champions Fortune Barishal and Khulna Tigers will not participate this season. While the BCB has confirmed the participating teams, details about the new ownership groups are yet to be released.
