Bashar Takes the Helm as Leader of BCB Women’s Wing

The previous selection panel, consisting of Minhajul Abedin Nannu, Bashar, and Abdur Razzak, officially concluded their term on December 31, 2023.

The BCB chose not to renew the contracts of Nannu and Bashar for their respective roles. Instead, Gazi Ashraf Hossain Lipu has been appointed as the chief selector.

Bashar, who has been part of the selection panel since 2016, will now lead the Women’s team.

Earlier, BCB’s Nazmul Hasan Papon confirmed that Nannu and Bashar would take on significant roles within the board. However, the specific position for Nannu on the board is still unknown.
