Bangladesh U-19 Secures Inaugural Super-6 Victory by Defeating Nepal

Jishan Alam and Ariful Islam both scored over fifty runs as Bangladesh U-19 chased down 170 against Nepal in 25.2 overs. Ariful hit 59 off 38 balls, including seven boundaries and two sixes, while Jishan scored 55 off 43 deliveries with six 4’s and two sixes.

Despite Subash Bhandari’s impressive five-wicket haul, Nepal’s target was not enough, and Bangladesh secured their first Super-6 win.

In the earlier innings, Maruf Mridha and Parvez Jibon combined for seven wickets to restrict Nepal to 169-10. Maruf took four wickets, and Jibon claimed three.

Bishal Bikram KC top-scored for Nepal with 48 runs, falling just short of a half-century by two runs.
