Australia fought back in their second innings, with Cameron Green scoring a determined 104, but Bangladesh’s bowlers kept the pressure on and dismissed the hosts for 284. Miraz was the star with the ball, claiming 5 wickets for 66 runs, while Hasan Mahmud took three wickets.
Earlier, Hasan Mahmud had produced a sensational spell of 6 for 55 to dismantle Australia’s first innings. His performance played a crucial role in giving Bangladesh control of the match.
Chasing just 57 runs, Bangladesh suffered an early setback when Tanzid Hasan was dismissed for four. However, Shadman Islam and Mominul Haque remained composed and guided the Tigers home. Shadman finished unbeaten on 25, while Mominul remained unbeaten on 30 as Bangladesh reached the target in 14.2 overs.
