After being invited to bat first, openers Parvez Hossain Emon and Tanzid Hasan Tamim formed a 100-run partnership. Tamim scored 53 from 64 balls with four boundaries and a six, while Emon made 47 off 64 balls.

Bangladesh lost wickets at regular intervals with Akbar Ali (26), Shamim Hossain (20), and Mahfuzur Rahman Rabby (17) contributing short innings. Abu Haider’s crucial 38 off 41 balls, including three fours and a six, helped Bangladesh post a competitive total.

Hamish Martin took four wickets for Northern Territory with figures of 4-46.

In pursuit of the target, only skipper Jacob Dickman showed resistance, scoring 51 off 87 balls with six boundaries. Jagadeswara Kodru (12), Hamish Martin (17), and Tom Menzies (14) were the only other players to reach double figures.
