The Embassy of Bangladesh in Bahrain and the Bahrain Cricket Federation are excited to host the Bangladesh-Bahrain Friendship Cricket Cup 2024. The event will take place this Friday, December 27, from 2 to 4 PM at the Alba Club field.

This special match celebrates two major milestones: the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Bangladesh and Bahrain and the 25th year of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s reign. It also highlights the shared significance of December 16, observed as both Bahrain’s National Day and Bangladesh’s Victory Day.

In a joint announcement, Chargé d’Affaires A.K.M. Mohiuddin Kayes and representatives of the Bahrain Cricket Federation expressed their excitement for the event. Mr. Kayes thanked the Federation for their collaboration, emphasizing how sports can strengthen bilateral relations. Federation Advisory Board Chairman Mohammad Mansoor shared his hope that the game will deepen friendship and mutual respect between the two nations.
