Babar climbed five places to No. 10 following Pakistan’s eight-wicket victory over the West Indies in the second Test. He played a key role in the win, scoring 88 in the first innings before remaining unbeaten on 24 during the successful run chase.
Abdullah Shafique was another major beneficiary of Pakistan’s victory. The recalled batter smashed an unbeaten 160 in the first innings, jumping 25 places to 32nd in the Test batting rankings.
Spinner Sajid Khan also made significant progress after an impressive bowling performance. He climbed five places to 30th among Test bowlers and moved up five spots to 32nd in the all-rounder rankings.
Australia’s Travis Head continues to lead the Test batting rankings, while India’s Jasprit Bumrah remains No. 1 among bowlers and Ravindra Jadeja retains the top spot in the all-rounder rankings.
There were also notable movements in the ODI rankings. Afghanistan opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz moved up three places to 11th, while Hashmatullah Shahidi climbed four spots to 50th. Rashid Khan strengthened his position at the top of the ODI bowling rankings, with Ireland’s Mark Adair returning to the list at No. 17.
